This was our first trip to Grand Cayman. Marc was super helpful sending information before we arrived and then gave us some more helpful tips once we got there. The condo is perfectly situated near yummy restaurants, dive shops, bus routes and a stroll away from Camana Bay and Fosters grocery store. As a result we did not miss having a car. The beach access is lovely and all the residents and guests we met were really nice. Snorkeling right off the beach was also fun! Highly recommend, we will definitely be back! Thanks again Marc!

luxury slice of paradise stays! Marc & Monique’s home is a pure luxury slice of paradise with outstanding hosts. The unit was spotless with stunning ocean views, exactly as pictured. The designer furniture and incredibly comfortable beds with high-end bedding, every detail screamed quality. The chef’s kitchen was a dream, with high-end appliances that made our vacation to the top end. We especially loved the beach gear provided, communication was seamless. Marc and Monique even left a welcome fruit basket with individually packaged snacks, Keurig K-cup and cold bottled water in the fridge, etc. It made us feel right at home. A 5-star stay for sure and highly recommend for a relaxing getaway, we would defiantly come back!

We have stayed on seven mile beach before over the years. We were looking for something a little different and boy did we find it ! The Cayman Reef complex is a well maintained facility. What impressed Gena and I was Unit #33 that we stayed in. This place had all the comforts of home plus a view of the beach and water. We walked to the store and got our groceries plus all other necessities that we needed. This location is centrally located to many resturants plus walking distance to Georgetown. We want to personally that Marc and Monique for their concern and care for us while we were there. Looking forward to coming back. Thank you David & Gena Eade

"It really is a great location!"
We stayed at Marc's Unit 50 at Cayman Reef Resort. The unit is clean, comfortable, and has all the amenities you need. Marc is a great "landlord" and checked on us a few times over our stay and was very responsive to our needs. I liked its location within the resort - not too close to the beach (a little busy during the day) or road. The pool is very nice, but the beach is what really sets this location apart. We always got an umbrella and you can just walk right into the ocean and snorkel, in what we found to be, one of the best snorkeling locations on seven mile beach. It was incredible - a variety of fish, a small nurse shark (don't worry - they are more afraid of you!) and even a baby sting ray. Right there!! If you are willing to travel a little for snorkeling, we really liked Eden Rock/Devil's Grotto in George Town. You can just enter the water from the wall along the southern side of the harbor - just look for the cruise ships and go to the south. The Marriott to the south also has some moonscape looking pods off their beach that have some interesting snorkeling. The resort location is between the northern end of seven mile beach and George Town - a great location with "Chicken Chicken" right across the street. There is some road construction just north of the resort (an overpass to get pedestrians from seven mile beach to the Camana Bay retail/restaurant center), but I think it will only help pedestrian travel in the area. We found the best way to travel around was by the Public Bus. There is a northbound stop right in front of the resort and a southbound stop across West Bay Road (watch for traffic!!). It was usually 5 US dollars a ride (for two) almost everywhere we went. People are so friendly, but the buses are very quiet and if you tell them where you are going, they will drop you off even if there isn't a "stop". They even drove us out of their way to get us to our destinations (like Pedro Castle). We even had the bus driver stop to see if we were ok or needed a ride when we were off the beaten track (looking for hell - look it up!). It was great! I know if can be hard to determine where to stay when you've never been to the island. Just know that the nearest large hotel is the Marriott - only a 10 minute walk to the south (towards George Town) and they have two nice restaurants there. We had the Sting Ray City tour guides pick us up at the Marriott, although everyone knows where the Cayman Reef Resort is.

"Perfect Location"
Literally everything was great. Marc and Monique were excellent hosts. They were very proactive in letting us know what was happening on the island and that their beach was getting smaller from storms, but we absolutely loved the smaller beach. If you want to walk the wide white sand beaches, there’s just a 10 yard walk through knee deep water then it opens up and you can walk as long as you’d like. There was plenty of sand just outside the condo to sink into and soak up the sun and the crowds were extremely small. There was a cool reef about 20 yards out where we were able to snorkel and see tons of reef fish, puffer fish, and a couple sting rays. It was amazing to wake up every morning and look at the beautiful water through the sliding door in our bedroom. The location was perfect too. Walking distance to multiple restaurants and shopping a short drive or taxi ride to many others. Marc and Monique gave great recs on food. We felt at home right when we walked through the front door. The condo was clean, full of everything we needed, and very cozy. We plan on coming back to Cayman and will absolutely stay here again.

This place was perfection! Looked just like the photos. We used the kitchen and had breakfast on the screened in porch watching the water every morning. Place was very nicely stocked. Great location with lots of restaurants to walk to as well as a grocery store. We did not need to rent a car. Its right on the bus stop and our activities/dive shop picked up since it is on Seven Mile Beach. He did use the public bus service to go to the turtle center and back and it was very cheap and easy.

"Great accommodations, great owner, friendly staff close to best 7-Mile has to offer"
My wife and I recently returned from a week stay at Cayman Reef Resort #1. It was a perfect base camp for us to explore the Island. We like to rent a car and explore as much of a Caribbean Island during our stays as possible so we were looking for a good rental value with a nice place to lay our head at night. Let me start by saying the best thing about renting CRRVR #1 was Marc. He was very organized providing great information and communication before and during our stay. CRRVR#1 was just the good value place we were looking for, recently renovated as advertised with a reasonable cost. The beach apparently took a hit in the last storm so it is very narrow compared to the beach further north where the big resorts like the Westin are but those are much more expensive and even in off season packed with people. CRR was quiet and we had our morning coffee sitting in the shared Adirondack chairs looking out at the ocean and took in some beautiful sunsets with a glass of wine on several nights. Since the entire stretch of 7 Mile Beach is open to the public with many “Public Beach Access” paths between the big resorts we were able to take our portable chairs to many different parts of 7 Mile, buy a frozen drink or have a nice sit-down lunch at the big resort’s pool bars without the premium price tag to stay there. "5 Star Stay !"
Marc has done a tremendous job with his condo. It's so nice that I want to keep it a secret!!!! The condo is immaculate and it is filled with high class Everything. Marc spares no expense. He has it set up like he lives there. There are beach items like 3 sets of flippers, an umbrella in case you need it, floaty noodles, and I probably missed something. Basic condiments as well as fruit and water are there for you. Nice touch with those items as well as the granola bars. Condo 33 is set up like a high end home would be. You walk out the screened- in lanai, and it's 10 seconds to the ocean. It has an excellent view, a well maintained pool area, and a decent amount of beach loungers. It is a quiet respectful place and nobody reserves loungers with towels hours ahead. There are 2 beach clubs less than 3 minutes north of the condo if you feel like a tropical drink or a beer. The jerk chicken at Coral Beach was excellent. What really was excellent was receiving a call from Marc to make sure we were all set to go. Marc's condo is spotless, in a perfect location, and it was an excellent place to spend some relaxing days in. Feel free to book with confidence.

The Sand Castle condo at Cayman Reef Resort was absolutely perfect for our family vacation! It was very clean and updated with plenty of room to rest, relax and enjoy! The property itself was beautifully manicured and the pool was beautiful and clean as well. The location was near wonderful restaurants within driving or walking distance. We even had a chef come to our condo to cook for us one evening and he had plenty of room in the kitchen. It was a perfect condo for our family!!

We love visiting the Cayman's! This property was perfect for our stay. Clean, very convenient to excellent dining and shopping. The beautiful Foster's grocery store is very nice if you choose to cook in or grab nicely prepared fresh food from the deli. My husband liked the assigned parking spots for each condo. Both the pool area and the beach area are very clean and well kept, so relaxing! Highly recommend! We look forward to booking a future stay here again.

Proximity to the beach was incredible. Also, the condo was conveniently located near a big grocery store, many restaurants we enjoyed, and shopping. Our host, Marc, was very responsive both before and throughout our stay. He was very accommodating to resolve any issues we had during our stay. He is highly thoughtful and organized as far as setting expectations for what is available in the condo and at the property. We enjoyed our stay and appreciate Marc’s accommodations.

We were scheduled to move to the Westin after a few days. We wanted to stay at the VRBO suite instead. So good. Right on the beach, close to everything we needed. Definitely will stay here again. One of the best places on the island if you like a spot that is not too busy but close to the action if you want.

Mark’s property was precisely as described. His communication from beginning to end was prompt and complete. He always had our comfort in mind. The bed was super comfortable. The sofa was also a nice place to relax. The kitchen was fully equipped, including a vita mix. We could not be more pleased with the quality of the condo and all the amenities within it. It is modern and recently upgraded, which is something you do not often see in many properties Cayman. We would happily rent from Mark again, and if you decide to rent from him, you will also be most pleased.

"Pleasantly surprised"
We've never stayed at a VRBO place before and we were pleasantly surprised by this unit. The pictures portray this unit accurately as well as the amenities mentioned. It was very nice, clean and plenty of space for my wife and myself. The area was close to everything and that includes the beach. Communication with Marc was very good. We noticed a small issue with the patio door that I had emailed him and within the hour, he had called the unit personally to address the issue. I would rent from Marc and this property again.

"What a great place to stay!!!"
This was our sixth trip to the Cayman Islands and we have stayed at some very nice condos in the past. #50 at Cayman Reef Resort is by far our very favorite! The unit had everything you could ever want or need for the perfect vacation. The bed was extremely comfortable too, which is not always the case in most places. I want to buy the same mattress for our home it was so comfortable! I loved having a washing machine and dryer in the condo. We used it almost everyday. The resort itself is very nice and having a swimming pool was an added bonus. We really liked the location of this condo. There are so many restaurants and shops right across the street or within walking distance and the entrance to Camana Bay is also across the street as well. Camana Bay has restaurants, shopping, Starbucks, a theater, a gym and Foster's food market. It is a 10 minute walk from the condo. In the past we always had to rent a car, but you do not need one if you stay here. The public buses run right out front and only cost $2.00 to ride. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to bring the family back in the future. This was truly a perfect place to stay. We loved it!!!

Unit was very clean, owner was extremely prompt in all communication, unit had many baby friendly and kid friendly features (car seats, high chair, pack n play, sand toys, games). All the kitchen utensils/ gadgets you could ask for and nicer quality than my own house. Marc was also able to help me arrange for a babysitter who helped us out all week. The beach is beautiful and all the other guests at the complex were very friendly. Convenient parking. Well kept grounds. We will be back!

The location is perfect and the owners have maintained unit 33 in an updated fashion that leads to comfort and a great experience. The attention to detail with extras at the condo was nice. The starter supplies of water, juice and fruit was also a really nice touch. The CRR beach chairs and umbrellas go quickly and if you are not out on the beach by 0700 they are all taken. Our unit had its own personal umbrella which made all the difference in the world. So happy the owners provided a personal beach umbrella! No rental car is necessary everything is walk able and if not the public bus was only $2.50 US which we used several times. Very happy with our stay.

we had a great vacation at this unit. it has everything we needed. the location can not any better. it's directly on SMB, you can walk to most of the restaurants on the beach or rent a car of you wish. that area of the beach is so nice and clean all the time. the owner, Marc , was great, he responded to our emails so quick. the whole resort is very clean and very well taken care of. the unit has 2 snorkels, a beach umbrella, a cooler and a few beach toys. 1/5/2018 at 1:52 PM

This was our first experience renting in Cayman. The unit was perfect for us. Marc was very responsive when we had some TV issues. We accomplished the solution thanks to his instruction. However, it did not lead to a win in the final four by our beloved Illini. Additionally, we heard from other guests/owners during our stay about the beach erosion. We truly appreciated the honesty of Marc and Monique. More importantly, the beach is back and absolutely awesome! We’d love to return to Cayman Reef #32 soon.

This condo is amazing. It is in a perfect location on the 7 mile beach and close to shopping. We had great snorkeling right off the beach. It is equipped with more than just the necessities. This condo was Immaculate, comfortable and well appointed. Before you go, you will receive a packet of information on the amenities and how to use them. I printed this and read it on the plane. It was of great help b/c I understood how to work the A/C, the wifi and the sound system. The host/owners were easy to communicate with and very helpful. I felt comfortable reaching out if I needed to. We had no worries and had a great vacation! We always had a chair and an umbrella. Thank you so much for having such a great place to stay.

Amazing place! So easy to walk to the beach by walking out the screened in patio. View was great. Private and quiet area, others at the complex were quiet and courteous. Everything needed for beach enjoyment is supplied, and the kitchen has top quality service wear and implements. Would love to come back, hosts are very thoughtful and thorough, making it easy to enjoy a super clean and comfortable condo. Bed was great, furniture comfy to use. Great location, so close to nice grocery store and great restaurants.

This condo was very clean and updated; the owner was very attentive and responsive to any questions we had. He provided a number of practical suggestions such as where to get groceries, shopping, getting around. The condo itself was so well situated that we did not have to rent a car (tho, admittedly, we have been to Grand Cayman before, so we were not inclined to do any sight seeing). Our evening ritual was wine & cheese on the beach as we watched beautiful sunsets (property does face West). One feature I appreciated was that the unit is locked via code, so we did not have to carry/worry about a key. The only negative comment I have, and it is totally NOT a fault of the condo/property/owner, is that when the cruise ships come in, and on some days, there were many, the beach adjoining the development appeared to be the location where the cruise people were dropped off for the day. Most of the time, that was not a problem, but sometimes, the cruise population was more like an onset of spring breakers and all that that entails (drinking, smoking pot, swearing, screaming, general obnoxious behaviors). Alas, they all departed around 3 back to their Mother Ship, but it made for a non-peaceful day for us; we like the serenity. This would not deter us from recommending the condo, however, and we would gladly return here again.

"Great vacation"
We had a fantastic stay at the Cayman Reef Resort. The condo was perfect. All the amenities were updated and top quality. I have to mention that the bed and pillows were very comfortable which is important for any vacation. We never had to adjust the AC as it was comfortable from the start along with ceiling fans in all the rooms. The resort is in a great location. It's right on the beach and within walking distance of a great variety of restaurants, shopping, and a brand new large food store in Camana bay. Public buses and taxis run daily along West bay road and the bus is only $2.50/ person USD. This was our second stay at Cayman Reef Resort and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Very nice condo with ocean view. Great location on the island. Close to everything. All of the comforts of home and then some. Not a single thing not covered. A beautiful beach albeit very narrow and can’t walk far on the beach without getting wet. Not a problem for us but if you like to take a long walk on the beach it might be for. The plus side to that is not many on the beach near us.

This is a great place to stay if you plan on NOT renting a car. It’s a first floor unit and minimal stairs to worry about accessibility. The location is on the main public bus(read small frequent vans that locals use and are safe). You can get to where you need to go by walking as well. The excursions frequently will do hotel pick up and the Marriott is a great spot one block down. The facilities are perfect for two- while it would work for 4 it’s a better fit and space for a couple. The pool could use a refresh but the water was clean and the beach chairs In sand above the retaining wall are a good bonus for sunset watching. All beaches in Cayman are public access and it’s a few minute walk either way for full sand if you are seeking it. Small short walk to Caymana Bay with restaurants and shops for your liking. Bed was very comfortable and the linens and space was clean with plenty of kitchen gadgets- well stocked. I would certainly stay here again!!

The apartment was amazing. It's literally just a few steps from the amazing beach that has chairs and umbrellas provided. The apartment itself was very clean, very spacious and big and had everything you would need during the holiday and even more. The communication with Marc and Monique was very easy and they always replied fast and were also very nice in accommodating our requests for early check-in and late check-out. There was nothing negative about their apartment, we really enjoyed all the amenities this apartment had to offer. Also really loved breakfasts at our small balcony with the ocean view. Would return any time!

"Perfect condo on perfect beach!"
This was our 10th visit to Grand Cayman and our 8th time renting from Marc. This is a beautiful condo on Seven Mile Beach. It has been completely renovated and is really great. It is stocked with a great supply of kitchenware, towels, beach umbrella and just about anything you would need while vacationing here. Marc also supplies at least a starting amount of basic items (paper towels, water, fruit, etc.) and much relevant information about the island and services. Marc is very responsive and always checks in to make sure everything is okay. The resort is also very lovely, well-maintained and on the most beautiful beach. It is in a great location. Easy to walk many places or grab a bus (van) for $2.50; cabs are also very accessible. We usually do not rent a car. There are many restaurants and several grocery stores in walking distance. We have made many friends at this resort and now each year is like a reunion. We hope to visit Grand Cayman and rent this unit from Marc for many more years! Stayed Feb 2018

This was an awesome place to stay while in Cayman. One of the best VRBO experiences we've ever had. Can't wait to visit again. THE CONDO: First floor with a screened in porch that opens directly to another porch. A few steps to the sand. Absolutely beautiful sunsets. The place is spacious with plenty of storage for cloths, luggage, and souviners :). The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you need. Ice maker pumps out the ice! Furniture is comfortable, shower is great. The owner even provides extras like a beach umbrella, snorkeling gear, tennis rackets, etc. THE LOCATION: Awesome location close to restaurants. Quick drives to scuba diving, boat docks, shopping. Easy walk to liquor store across the street (and Wendy's). Domino's delivers 🙂 THE OWNER: Top notch. Varsity level. Upon securing the reservation, we received a link to a shared folder with any information we could possibly need including recommendations for drivers, restaurants, etc. A great FAQ with anything you need to know about the island. Very impressed by this owner's planning and attention to detail.

When we travel, we stay at rentals from VRBO and Air BnB as much as possible, so I have a lot of other experiences to compare this one to and let me tell you, Marc’s property was hands down, the BEST of them all. The condo is beautiful, the location is perfect, the personal touch of a personal call and even a fruit bowl were unexpected, but so appreciated! He sent a lot of information ahead of time about the property and the area, but there’s even a printed version provided! Being able to make phone calls to the US from the property was a bonus too! Marc was more than prompt in responding to any emails I sent (and there were quite a few) and wow, oh so gracious and flexible with our schedule that needed to accommodate our 16 month old son. For that, I am truly grateful! If Marc owned a property on any of my future destinations, I wouldn’t hesitate to rent it immediately! Stayed Jun 2019

I was amazed when I first got to the property. One because it was so beautiful inside and out. For me I like privacy and scenic views . The condo location gave just that. It’s located in walking distance to tons of places but also tucked. I’ve stayed at other condos and places before. However, Marc and Monique was by far the best host I’ve experienced. The communication, the thoughtfulness of their guest, to the amazing one bedroom. Felt like home away from home. I’ve seen reviews about the beach but that part was fine to me. Yes a bit rocky in some parts but also by coral reef. You can’t beat that in the water and these beautiful fishes swim by. Highly recommend to give Marc and Monique a try if you’re thinking about staying in Cayman. 10 Stars hands down!

"Fabulous on the beach one bedroom condo"
You could not ask for more than this one bedroom condo right on seven mile beach in Grand Cayman. The owner is considerate and sends great information, the condo is set up for fast wifi, keyless entry, free phone calls, and a safe stay. Your patio has a beach and pool view for your morning coffee. The owner has put much thought in to every single thing to make your stay lovely, down to umbrellas to take to the beach to ensure you have your own shade. The washer and drier are great perks, so necessary for a beach vacation. Nice appliances, comfy furniture and bed. My husband and I have stayed many times in Cayman and we'll come back to this condo every time we return to Cayman. I almost hate saying how nice it is, it will always be snapped up and rented! You are steps from the beach and beautiful ocean, I swam every day. Marc responds rapidly to any inquiries you might have and the office was great to respond if you need something on site. We first found this condo by talking to a gentleman on the beach one day who was staying in another of Marc's condos, and he said he had stayed all over the island and this was the best site he's found of them all. We agree! This was our 9th trip to Cayman and a trip we enjoyed every minute of. Thanks, Marc.

We LOVED staying in Marc’s condo. He is very responsive, helpful and communicative. It was nice that he called and emailed to check in with us after arrival. The condo was great and exactly as described. Our kids kept quite entertained between the snorkeling gear provided and the community beach floats available. We loved the beautiful location on the beach with many Family friendly eating options just 3-5 minutes away and Camana Bay less than 10 minutes. Thank you Marc for such a memorable vacation and I hope we can return to this beautiful island in the coming years. "An amazing vacation!"
We had such a relaxing and beautiful vacation and the apartment was set up with everything we needed. We traveled with our 3 y.o son who had a blast playing with the beach toys we found in the unit. The bed was very comfortable, the apartment was beautiful and clean and SO close to the beach, restaurants, Camana Bay. Marc was very helpful and responsive whenever we contacted him. We hope to come back for another vacation in the near future!

Beautiful unit, equipped with everything one can think of. I travelled with two kids and I was able to buy food at the local store (short walk) and cook anything. I had even measuring cups and spatulas to make pancakes! The unit had everything needed to go to the local beach and pool, from towels to sand toys and noodles for the kids. I would definitely rent it again.

Property was very clean and in good condition. Pool and ocean is just outside your patio doors. Our host, Marc, called us to make sure all our needs were met and helped resolve a problem with the tv on the phone. We ate dinner out a lot and all the restaurants were only a two minute walk from our condo. We recommend Cimboco, Peppers, and Bonfire. We met so many friendly people just sitting by the pool. Would definitely stay here again.

We walked into the condo and it smelled so clean and fresh. The fruit and snacks plus the drinks were a thoughtful treat. It was hot and humid outside but always cool and refreshing inside. We loved the restaurant recommendations and enjoyed the ones we visited. Tilly’s and Piccolino’s was our favorite. We rented a car from Budget and it was nice going on daily drives. We enjoyed Foster’s grocery store because of the variety and lots to choose from. We swam and snorkeled with the turtles at the Cayman Turtle Centre. We used the provided masks and snorkels in the condo to snorkel in the beautiful ocean. Being able to wake up and walk out to the ocean every day was amazing! I walked down the beach for exercise every day. The sand is a beautiful white and the water is that turquoise blue that you see on the travel channel. The condo was perfect for my husband and I. We cooked meals, we BBQ’d snapper on the grill and it turned out perfect. It was the best vacation! Thank you Mark & Monique

Amazing apartment, right in front of the beach. Quiet beach felt like a private beach. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed, including floats, snorkeling gear, large kitchen (we purchased/cooked food), coffee Keurig, and etc. The best part was being right in front of the beach -- the back doors allowed you to easily walk right into it. I've stayed at many airbnbs, and this was the best I've ever stood at.

We really appreciated the high quality furnishings, linens/towels, kitchen utensils, flatware and all appliances. The Keurig single brew coffee maker was wonderful, in addition to the standard one. I especially like that your instructions included what size coffee filters your machines use. Details matter. The bed was extrememly comfortable. The provided beach umbrella was very much appreciated since the umbrellas on the beach were quickly taken by early morning. Restaurants, shops, water activities, night life and more are within walking distance of the condo. Rent a car to see what the rest of the island has to offer. Of course, shopping in George Town is a must. My hubby bought me a diamond pinky ring to celebrate our 30th Anniversary... can I say amazing! Grand Cayman is our special place and CCR #33 is where we want to stay while here. The owner has thought of everything. Simply the best.

This condo is perfect for a no-frills beach trip. Marc has literally thought of everything someone could need. Clean, quiet, comfortable. The beach is beautiful and we had no trouble getting chairs. The complex is quiet, gorgeous, and engenders a feeling of being in your own private paradise. Communication with the owner was thorough, extremely helpful and informative, and excellent! The condo was spotless, has top of the line, comfortable furnishings & linens, all of the essentials and a ton of surprise bonuses (such as a welcome basket with fresh fruit and snacks, beach umbrellas, beach towels, coffee pods, pool noodles, laundry detergent, etc.). We loved our stay and eagerly look forward to returning!

Our stay was nice. The unit is steps from the beach and the best part is sitting in the patio listening to waves at night. The unit was super clean and smelled great upon arrival. The unit is fully stocked with everything you’ll need. Marc was very responsive and attentive to our needs at all times and even let us check in early! The only drawback was the sofa bed. It was not the most comfortable, but overall I’d highly recommend this unit to a couple or a family with young children.

The condo is very tastefully done, high end quality appliances, cookware, furniture, and very comfortable. Location is great. Our party of 6 had plenty of room without being right on top of one another. We had everything we needed. Took advantage of having kayaks and snorkel gear, the beach was perfect. Camana Bay is close enough for a great walk and perfect for evening relaxation. Tuesday evening they offer a free movie on the Bay with vendors for popcorn, ect. Perfect for kids.

My husband and I just returned from Condo #32. Everything was perfect except the Saturday night music from The Royal Palms Club 2 doors down. We had to wear ear plugs that night and one other night but it did not ruin our vacation. It was only a real problem on Saturday. It would not keep us from renting this unit again. We also appreciated a call from the owner upon arrival to check if everything was OK. The unit was clean and fresh smelling. The unit had everything we needed for the week: paper towels, toilet paper, tissue, soaps, towels, beach towels (6), a large beach umbrella plus a child size one, and kitchen basics (salt/pepper/sugar/coffee and a few coffee filters) The bed (I Comfort)and pillows were so comfortable and supportive. The mattress pad and pillow protectors were terry cloth style and very plush. With 2 large sliding doors we always had a view of the water and palm trees and enjoyed sitting outside at night playing cards. The electric grill worked well and was easy to use. We highly recommend this unit and would give it 5 stars.

We have rented many vacation properties over many years and this was probably one of the top 2 best equipped and supplied ever- noteworthy were the beach items (2 umbrellas, cooler, noodles, raft and beach toys) even though we did not use them, a rain umbrella (not needed either thank goodness!), beach towels, re-usable grocery sacks, books and movies. The cookware was good quality and plentiful as was the crockery, cutlery and glassware. There were 2 coffee pots (drip and pods) as well as a few starter coffee pods, sugar, powdered creamer, a few spices, and some condiments. A very nice touch was a bottle of Perrier and a container of juice in the refrigerator as well as a "welcome bowl " of apples, bananas and a few granola bars, Thank you for this thoughtful touch! The bed was very comfortable with nice sheets and the bath towels were thick, fluffy good quality and generously supplied along with 4 beach towels. We always love to have a washer and dryer and these were new and high efficiency. Bonus points for plentiful drawers in the bedroom and bathroom, a good supply of hangers in the closet, extra pillows and blankets, luggage rack, the safe, hooks in the bathroom, the drying rack on the porch and the screened porch itself !! We love a screened porch. The air conditioning was new and worked great. The pool was very nice with loungers and umbrellas. The only disappointment about the Cayman Reef Resort- certainly not something the owners can remedy and more disheartening to them than anyone I am sure - was the badly eroded, rocky and narrow beach area but the price was very reasonable for that part of the SMB. Many people staying there were enjoying the beach and the lovely water. I am afraid we are admittedly spoiled about beautiful beaches. The area was great! We were happy to be able to walk to several places to eat and shop even though we had a rental car- we especially enjoyed Peppers. Thank you Marc for letting us enjoy such a great unit. I cannot think of a single thing I would add or change!!!

First of all…. The owners Marc and Monique communicated with us both via text and email as soon as we made the reservation which continued until the time we were headed to the Caymans. A few days after our arrival Marc called just to check in on us. KUDOS! The information they immediately sent was filled with practical and well thought out information about the island…. The condo itself…. The condo complex (which is delightfully not a huge resort) that gave us confidence and peace when headed to a place we hadn’t been. He also had recommendations for dining. Their favorite restaurant in the island is Ragazzi (3 min from condo)…. And we loved it so much we ate there 3 times. Secondly…. The condo was very comfortable for my husband and I…. It had all the comforts of home. The beach is just as described…. Somewhat eroded but still able to sit on it in the provided chairs and swim in heaven….. I would recommend wearing water shoes as at times the beautiful coral reef washes up…. Since I live in VA beach I use those water shoes all of the time. If you are thinking about going to the Caymans and looking into a VRBO….. don’t hesitate….book this unit!!!! I pray I will be able to return.

"A Tropical Gem"
We have been visiting Grand Cayman and have rented one of Marc's condos for 15 years. Grand Cayman is a very beautiful and relaxing place to visit. It feels very safe and the locals are very friendly and helpful. It is easy to get around using a simple, inexpensive bus system or taxi. Cayman Reef Resort is in a great location on beautiful Seven Mile beach and you can walk to a grocery store and many shops and restaurants. The pictures of Cayman Reef Resort and Marc's condos truly represent what you will find there. Unit 1 is beautifully decorated and stocked with just about everything you will need. Marc is great to work with and easy to reach if you have any issues. He always checks in when you first arrive to make sure everything is okay and there are no issues. We have made many returning friends at Cayman Reef Resort over the years, but always look forward to making new ones too. If you like the beach, water sports and great restaurants, Grand Cayman is the place for you to visit and Cayman Reef Resort is in the heart of it!
