The sandbar is located in a shallow, crystal clear body of water, with depths ranging from three to ten feet. Visitors can snorkel or stand in the knee-deep waters and watch the graceful stingrays as they feed, play, and swim around them. The experience is often described as one of a kind, and visitors may even be able to give the stingrays a friendly pat. Snorkel around the area to discover an array of marine life, or just relax on the boat and take in the incredible views. The site is staffed by experienced guides who are knowledgeable about the stingrays, and who can provide safety tips and advice. Visitors should remember to bring along plenty of sunscreen and water, and to be respectful of the animals and their environment.

You can book your trips with Captain Marvin’s. They offer a variety of different trips, staring from $49 to $99 per person (kids are a bit less). Tour #4 is a favorite and #3 adds a nice twist when it is conch season.
