North Sound Golf Club is the only true eighteen-hole championship golf course in Grand Cayman, North Sound Golf Course is a par 71, 6,605 yard links style course with a 139 slope and 73.1 rating. Constructed in 1994, chief course architect Roy Chase designed ample surprises and challenges. Water is in play on fifteen of the eighteen holes and each hole has five different tee locations. Water hazards are comprised of lakes, canals and even the Caribbean Sea – bring a lot of extra balls to this golf course! Their signature hole eleven is a long par three playing into typically brisk cross winds, culminating in a panoramic green directly overlooking Grand Cayman’s north sound. Hole two is a long par five commencing over water along a generous 570 yard fairway, setting the pace early in the game. The course is well maintained and landscaped, with Palm and Casuarina trees lining the fairways and greens. North Sound Golf Club has a snack bar on site, and a fully stocked pro shop with club and cart rental. They offer instruction and a driving range.
